Where our results come from
Every number on this site originates with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office. We do not conduct draws and we are not connected to PCSO. What we do is read what PCSO announces, from more than one place, and publish it quickly with an honest label saying how well corroborated it is.
How a result reaches this page
During the draw our reader watches the official PCSO broadcast and publishes a number only after two separate frames agree on it. At that moment the number has been seen by a machine and by nobody else, so the page says so in a line under the result. If a ball is re-drawn, the number is withdrawn again.
Within the hour, independent publishers of the PCSO announcement print the same draw. When their numbers match ours the note disappears and the result simply stands. We require either our live reading plus one independent source, or two independent sources agreeing with each other.
A result carries no badge once it is settled. Almost every result on this site is settled, so a badge on all of them would say nothing; a mark appears only while something is genuinely unresolved.
We deliberately do not use the word "official". Only PCSO can publish an official result, and their own website is not reachable from outside the Philippines, so the strongest honest claim we can make is that independent publishers agree.
Our sources
- The official PCSO live draw broadcast, streamed on the PCSO YouTube channel and carried on IBC-13 and D8TV.
- Inquirer.net's daily lotto results table, which also carries the number of winners for each game.
- GMA News, which publishes a separate page for each individual draw.
- Philstar, used to settle a disagreement between the other two.
- lottophilippines.com, an aggregator, which can confirm a publisher or break a tie but never verifies a result on its own. It is also where the 5-of-6, 4-of-6 and 3-of-6 prize breakdown comes from.
Older results
GMA's per-draw pages begin in September 2023 and Inquirer's daily tables reach back about a year, so results older than that come from archives. For the five jackpot games we use the export of the PCSO results search on pcso.gov.ph, from January 2016. For 3D Lotto we use a ten-year archive that we checked against every draw we had verified ourselves before accepting it; its only missing days are the days PCSO did not draw. Wherever an archive and a publisher both cover a draw, the two are compared and a disagreement is flagged rather than hidden.
2D Lotto, 4D and 6D have no free archive before September 2023, so their history starts there.
When sources disagree
If two sources report different numbers we publish nothing new, mark the draw as being checked, and hold back every notification until a person has looked at it. We would rather be a few minutes late than wrong.
If a number we already published turns out to be wrong, the change is recorded on our corrections page with the time and the reason. We never quietly rewrite a result.
Before you claim a prize
Always have your ticket validated at an authorised PCSO outlet or branch. A website cannot pay a prize, and only the printed ticket counts.
